Eng. status and you completed the NPPE with another Canadian jurisdictionEIT to Full: Use this application type if you are an Engineer-in-Training with Engineers Nova Scotia and you have met all application requirements to apply for P. Eng. statusFull – AIT Non Resident: Use this application type if you are a P. Eng. registered in good standing with a Canadian jurisdiction and you do not currently reside in Nova ScotiaFull – AIT Transfer: Use this application type if you are a P. Eng. registered in good standing with a Canadian jurisdiction and you now reside in Nova ScotiaFull – Non Resident – Registered in the USA: Use this application type if you are a P. The length of time it takes to get to a completed application will vary by applicant.Once an application is submitted, the online application portal and application status can be used to monitor outstanding requirements that must be submitted before an application can be considered complete.Once an application is complete, applicants can expect to receive a decision on their application within three weeks.Applicants are encouraged to utilize the online application portal and the application status feature to monitor the status and processing time for their particular application. Note: application processing time may vary based on office closures and staff availability/workload. Inactive ApplicationsApplications that have been inactive (no communication or requirements being submitted) for six months or more may require a second application fee for continued processing. Eng. registrants that would like to be included in this special feature should provide the following:A photo of yourselfThis should be a good quality profile picture that you are comfortable having publishedYour area of practiceYour future goalsA one-to-two-line synopsis of your future plans/aspirationsEngineers Nova Scotia reserves the right to edit/alter submitted photos and text in order to reflect submission requirements.If Engineers Nova Scotia does not receive the above requested items, your name will not be included in the new P.
