Company Registration Information
Under Section 13(b) of the Engineers Nova Scotia Act & By-laws a company that provides engineering services to the public of Nova Scotia must be registered with Engineers Nova Scotia. All company registrations must have a Certificate of Compliance from Engineers Nova Scotia.
There are two categories of company registration:
Certificate of Compliance Company
A company that employs a number of engineers and provides engineering services to the public of Nova Scotia.
Sole Practitioner Company
A company that is owned and operated by a registered member of Engineers Nova Scotia and provides engineering services to the public of Nova Scotia. No other engineers are employed in a Sole Practitioner Company.
