Committee type: CEO Advisory Committee

This committee helps create a welcoming and engaging community for Engineers-in-Training and newly licensed Professional Engineers. Volunteers organize networking events, professional development opportunities, mentorship connections, and recognition initiatives that support career growth and professional pride. It is a great opportunity to help emerging engineers build relationships, feel supported, and find their place in the profession.

Committee Information:

• Supported by the Director of Professional Sustainment and Association Staff
• Monthly hybrid meetings, minimum of six meetings per year
• 3-year terms with opportunities for reappointment
• Must have a minimum of five members

Committee Responsibilities:

• Committee members help organize:
  • Social and networking events
  • Professional development activities and workshops
  • Sporting events that encourage engagement
  • Other events that promote the engineering community
• Build connections with peers and experienced professionals across the province.

Requirement to Join:

• EIT or New P.Eng. in good standing
• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint recommended
