Environmental Regulation (April 21st, 2016)

Katherine MacLeod, P.Eng., an Environmental Engineer at Nova Scotia Environment provided an overview of the Environment Act and the associated Regulations and Standards. A summary of the most common activities in the province that require environmental approval and the role Professional Engineers play in the submission of applications was discussed. Lynn Hogan Gillespie from the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development provided information on the initiatives within the school system to promote career plan development.
