The revised Nova Scotia Building Code Regulations (NS Reg 26/2017) was printed on March 17, 2017 in the Royal Gazette (see here) adopting the 2015 editions of the National Building Code, National Plumbing Code and National Energy Code for Buildings. 

These changes will come into effect on April 1, 2017. 

The only areas on the proposed regulation consulted on last year that did not move forward was the requirement for approval of certain building plans from the Office of the Fire Marshal prior to construction, and the requirement for adaptability for residential dwellings.
