Survey on Proposed Changes to Occupational Safety Regulations
Oct 29, 2024 7:00 PM
The Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Division of the Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration is seeking feedback on potential administrative changes to the Occupational Safety General Regulations (OSGRs) and the Workplace Health and Safety Regulations (WHSRs). The proposed changes are intended to, where necessary, update regulatory references to reflect the most recent editions of the codes and standards.
Employers and partner organizations are invited to review potential administrative changes and submit their feedback. The changes can be reviewed in the OHS Code and Standard Reference Document that provides a comparison of current and proposed language. You can provide your comments by completing the online survey on the Occupational Health and Safety Code and Standard Administrative Updates webpage.
The survey will remain open from Thursday October 17, 2024 until Monday November 18, 2024. Your input will help keep Nova Scotians safe in the workplace. Thank you for participating.
