UPDATE:  COVID-19 Measures, November 23rd, 2020

A Message from the CEO and Registrar, Pal Mann, CD, P.Eng.
Dear Applicants, Members, Friends and Family of Engineers Nova Scotia,
After a very successful pandemic response by Nova Scotians from March to October 2020, we have enjoyed the fruit of our labours here in the Atlantic Bubble. However, despite our best intentions, over the past few weeks we have seen a very disturbing uptick in COVID19 community infection rates over the past few weeks. As with our initial “flatten the curve” strategies, the official public safety response to deal with the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation has again increased, and many organizations are returning to proactive measures to reduce inadvertent exposure to the virus.
As Engineers Nova Scotia is committed to the health and wellbeing of its staff, its internal and external stakeholders, and members of the public whom we serve, we will be returning to our posture of March 2020 -
the Engineers Nova Scotia Office will remain closed to all visitors (members, volunteers and the public).
Though closed to visitors, the Engineers Nova Scotia Office will be open for employees if needed; employees who can execute their duties from home will be strongly encouraged to telecommute.  We will do our best to ensure that our members and volunteers continue to receive professional, timely service during this closure.
Walk-in appointments will not be possible during this period; any critical business with member or applicants will be done through email. For members, many activities such as reporting CPD or dues payment can be completed through our Member and Company area at https://engineersnovascotia.ca/member-area/
For our volunteers, all critical regulatory meetings will continue to be conducted virtually through teleconference or videoconference.  The staff responsible to coordinate any of our committee meetings will provide updates via email.
