Halifax Pride Parade Workshops

Jun 21, 2019 - Jun 23, 2019

Halifax

EngiQueers and Engineers Nova Scotia are partnering to host a three-day workshop to build three bicycle-powered floats for the 2019 Halifax Pride Parade. We invite you to offer your skills as we collaboratively deliver the Möbius Rainbow designed by artist Elizabeth Powell, along with two smaller companion floats that we’ll dream-up along the way. Engineering Students, EIT’s and Engineering Professionals and their loved ones are welcome to join us, free of charge, tools and materials provided, for any part of the three-day event. The workshop will be held from 9 am to 5 pm on June 21, 22 and 23rd, at Dalhousie’s new Idea Building, in Room 2004, of the Dalhousie Sexton Campus.

We’re happy to have you for as much time as you can spare. Drop-in to check out the progress, come for a couple of hours, or hang out for the full three days. If you can’t make it this time, we hope to see you at the Pride Parade!
