Who should attend?
The PMP Study Group is intended for individuals who are preparing to write the PMP examination (details on the PMP application here). This series is very specifically targeted to the PMP examinations.
What's the structure of the study group?
The interactive study group format provides participants with hands-on experience on all the PMBOK® Guide, 6th Edition concepts, including comprehensive learning activities on each of the project management processes. Its purpose is to provide a framework to assist participants in their individual self-study preparation.
Each session is facilitated by a certified Project Management Professional following established guideline for the series. Our study group facilitators use their knowledge of the process of studying and passing the PMP exam as well as how people learn to create an active environment that embraces participants’ prior knowledge and learning styles. They engage participants in taking charge of their learning. Our facilitators are the “guide by the side” encouraging the sharing of knowledge by and with participants.
Participants will be provided with a paper copy of the PMPBOK® Guide, 6th Edition and a Student Courseware bundle as part of their registration fee. All material that is presented is consistent with and supports current PMI published standards.
The final session is a Readiness Assessment – a 200 question full practice exam. Following completion, you will receive a report that gives your overall score and a breakdown by PMBOK process areas. This will advise you as to whether you are likely to pass the exam immediately or need additional self-study.
Price is $500 for members and $800 for non-members
