The Canadian Design-Build Institute will be hosting their annual conference in Halifax this year on October 11^th & 12^th at the Lord Nelson Hotel. The conference will have a variety of sessions such as Fiduciary Obligations in Labour and Material Payment Bonds this particular session will discuss the recent Supreme Court of Canada decision in Valard Construction and how this decision has changed the obligations imposed on parties who require labour and material payment bonds. Some other sessions include DB for small to medium sized infrastructure projects, digital technologies and data management applied to DB to name a few.
