Presentation Description:

The pressure is on, stress is high, the deadline is closing in. By attending this session, you will learn practical time management tools that will assist in planning, goal setting and scheduling to reduce stress and assist with meeting tight deadlines.

 

Specifically, you will be introduced to assessment tools to self-discover how productive you really are. Then you will be able to discover how productive you can be by implementing techniques to:  

 

  • Identify and control key symptoms of poor time management
  • Build workflows by using simple technology tools
  • Stop wasting time and focus in on the decision makers
  • Bring about success through collaborative leadership

Facilitator BIO:

As a global leader, Nancy Thompson is known for her ability to manage a multitude of projects, while remaining on task and delivering as scheduled. Having developed time management strategies and implemented self-discipline tactics she puts mechanisms in place to remain in control.   She secured an MBA in Global Leadership, a Diploma in Adult Education and held down a full time senior management position, all while raising a child as a single mom.  Having shared her approach to time management with business owners and fellow employees she continues to lead initiatives around the world and manage several local and global projects simultaneously.   

She has lead a global corporate business with 30 employees, launched a national business publication that was distributed in over 1000 retail outlets across Canada, selling 120,000 copies annually. Currently, she is the leader at AWENS, where she has taken the organization globally, and nationally to secure its place in the market, and is currently moving towards securing her PhD.
