International Conference on Magnetic Resonance Microscopy - Halifax

Aug 13, 2017 - Aug 17, 2017

International Conference on Magnetic Resonance Microscopy

Conference Scope

You are cordially invited to join the 14th International Conference on Magnetic Resonance Microscopy (ICMRM) which will be held from August 13th to 17th, 2017 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The aim of the MR microscopy conferences series is to showcase the most recent advances in the development and application of magnetic resonance microscopy. Recent conferences covered basics in spatially resolved magnetic resonance in solids, porous media, and biological tissue. In addition many applications of magnetic resonance to biological, engineering, and biomedical and clinical sciences were presented. The 14th conference in Halifax will continue with these topics and will also include pre-clinical imaging, molecular and cellular imaging, technological advances in magnetic resonance instruments and all kinds of exotic experiments.

The series of ICMRMs started in 1991 in Heidelberg, Germany and was continued as a biannual meeting (originally called "Heidelberg Conferences"). The last six meetings were held in Munich, Germany (2015), Cambridge, UK (2013), Beijing, China (2011), Montana, USA (2009), Aachen, Germany (2007), and Utsunomiya, Japan (2005).

All researchers, including beginners, in the field of spatially resolved magnetic resonance are invited to show their most recent results in the form of invited lectures, contributed oral presentations and traditional posters. There will be no parallel sessions. All posters will be on display for the duration of the conference. The conference will start with a series of educational lectures as has been past practise.

We are delighted to host the ICMRM in 2017 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Halifax is a historic Canadian city with a strong connection to the ocean. Nova Scotia is known for good reason as Canada's Ocean Playground.

Please join us in Halifax in 2017 for the 14th ICMRM.
