The Speakers:
Charles Harrington, P.Eng. – Program manager, Efficiency Nova Scotia
Charles has been with the company since inception almost five years ago.
His previous work in the energy efficiency industry includes projects under Nova Scotia Power’s Conservation and Energy Efficiency Department and Dalhousie’s Office of Sustainability.
While overseeing a number of different Efficiency Nova Scotia programs, including those targeted to small businesses, new construction, and existing building commissioning, he has gained a unique perspective on energy efficiency and demand side management in the province.
Errol Pereira, P.Eng. – Lead Program Manager, Efficiency Nova Scotia
Errol Pereira is a mechanical engineer with a specialization in energy efficiency through his working experience and education. Errol started his career in the energy efficiency sector working for Nova Scotia Power’s Conservation & Energy Efficiency department.
Errol’s completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (B.Eng). He then went on to complete a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (M.Eng) at University of Toronto with a focus on power generation systems, renewable technologies and a minor focus in nonlinear control systems.
Errol’s current role at EfficiencyOne involves leading the teams for three commercial and industrial programs within the programs department. His responsibilities include ensuring that EfficiencyOne’s custom program suite meets performance targets within the allotted budget.
