2024 ABM and Nova Scotia Engineering Excellence Gala - Thursday Events

The Days events will include:

President's Town Hall followed by the Annual Business Meeting (Hybrid Option Available)

The Annual Business Meeting will include presentations from the current and incoming Presidents of Engineers Nova Scotia, financial statements, introduction of new Council members and an opportunity for registrants to ask questions regarding the business of the association.

There is no cost to attend this event, but we do require your registration to ensure that we are preparing event staff with accurate numbers for food and beverages.

Registrants who attend may claim two PD participation hours on their Professional Development Program record.

President's Reception followed by the Nova Scotia Engineering Excellence Gala ($100/person)

We warmly invite you to a special evening that brings together two significant moments of celebration within our engineering community.

First, we will honour the past presidents of Engineers Nova Scotia who have generously shared their vision, wisdom, and leadership over the years. This gathering is a heartfelt tribute to their invaluable contributions and an opportunity to reflect on the journey we’ve travelled together.

Following this, we will celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s award winners, whose meaningful contributions have advanced the field of engineering. Join us in recognizing their exceptional achievements and sharing in the pride of our collective successes.

During the seated dinner program, there will be a brief overview of the 2024 Lieutenant Governor's Award-Winning project by Dillon Consulting Ltd, in partnership with Saint Mary’s University, for the Loyola Student Residence Recladding Project.

Come together with colleagues, friends, and industry leaders in a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll enjoy a relaxed program that highlights the inspiring stories of our distinguished guests. Your presence will add to the significance of the evening as we honour those who have truly excelled, and celebrate the spirit of engineering.
