On Wednesday, December 6th, the Dalhousie Women in Engineering (WIE) Society will be hosting their annual ceremony of remembrance and resilience. This ceremony is to commemorate the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. We do this to honour the memory of the 14 women who were killed on December 6th, 1989, in the École Polytechnique massacre, and to show our spirit and perseverance as women in engineering.
