This event qualifies for 1 Professional Development Hour (PDH) for the Engineers Nova Scotia CPD program.

Presentation and open discussion around workplace mental health and psychological safety. Real life examples and practical ways we can all lean into and support our own and colleagues’ mental health at work.

 

Learning Outcomes:

Defining and sharing concrete examples of what good mental health and psychological safety is in a workplace context. Discussion and sharing of best practices around practical tools, activities and supports that can be easily modeled and introduced into a workplace-through a peer led approach.

 

Presenter: Tanya Lush, Director of Workforce Development, COVE

Tanya is a graduate of Acadia University Wolfville, NS (Psychology) and Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Tanya holds a Masters of Education (Human Relations- Psychology) with a specialization in occupational psychology & career development; where personality and ability intersect with vocational and professional interests.
