Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia is looking for Career Mentors for their World of Choices STEM event!
This event will be delivered to grade 9 & 10 students throughout Nova Scotia on Tuesday, November 23.
Career Mentors will be asked to provide a 15-minute live virtual presentation on their education and career journey (i.e. education, volunteering experience, career path, etc.) to be followed by a 5-minute Q&A.
Career Mentors:
• Must be available for a video test-run prior to mentoring
• Confident presenting in an online platform
• Relevant work and/or educational experience
• Strong communication skills that are effective with youth
• Must be 18 years or older to volunteer
• Must be comfortable with the presentation being recorded
