Apr 21, 2021 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Online
Join the Young Professionals Committee on Wednesday, April 21st (6:00-7:00PM) for the launch of their online skill-share series!
In this workshop, Gregory Ryan, P.Eng. will provide an introduction to Onshape -- a browser-based 3D CAD design software with an active community and responsive administrative team. Greg will be covering the basics of the platform, including how the workspace operates, generating sketches, parts and assemblies.
To follow along, you will need a computer with a stable internet connection. Please note, Onshape is not supported on Microsoft Internet Explorer. It is recommended that you use the 64-bit version of your browser, if possible. Prior to the workshop, it is suggested that you sign up for the Public Maker Plan, which is the free to use plan for hobbyists and makers, if you intend to follow along.
This is a beginner workshop. While previous experience in 3D CAD software will be beneficial for following along, it is not necessary.
A link will be provided prior to the event. There is no cost to attend.
