West Hants Middle School is hosting a career expo on Friday, November 29th.  They are looking for an engineer come and talk to some students in grades 7 - 9. 

This career fair does not involve booths.  The presenters will be asked to speak to 4 groups of 20-25 students.  Sessions will last approx 20 min with 10 or 15 minutes for the speaker and the rest for questions.

Career Expo Schedule:

8:40 - Suggested arrival time for Presenters. 

Please sign in at the Main Office where you will be greeted by a Student Leader & shown to the Conference Room (Presenter Space for the Day) and then to your Presentation Space

8:55 - Homeroom & Announcements - (ALL head to Large Gym directly following)

9:15 - Welcome & Overview of day (10 min)

9:25 - Musical Performance: Terra Spencer (10 min) - 2 songs

9:35 - Keynote Speaker: Lori Rogers from the Construction Association NS - (40 min)

10:15 - SESSION 1 (20 min) + 5

10:40 - SESSION 2 (20 min) + 5

11:05 - Recess

11:20 - SESSION 3 (20 min) + 5

11:45 - SESSION 4 (20 min) + 5

12:05 - Feedback and Reflection on Day - Exit Slip - Provided by Student Facilitators.
