The Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) and Intelligent Transportation Systems Canada (ITS Canada) are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2019 TAC-ITS Canada Joint Conference & Exhibition in Halifax, September 22-25. 

Canada’s community of transportation professionals and students will gather to exchange bold and innovative solutions for Canadian transportation at the 2019 TAC-ITS Canada Joint Conference & Exhibition.

Join us for one of the strongest technical programs ever, with over 70 sessions, panel discussions, workshops and keynote presentations. This year’s program organizes the sessions into 10 different topics or streams, including smart cities and big data; connected and automated vehicles; public transportation and new mobility; road safety; operations; materials, pavements and structures; and more. The 70 sessions will comprise nearly 400 presentations from Canadian and international thought leaders from the transportation industry. Ten different tours of local and regional transportation infrastructure are also offered to delegates as part of the conference’s technical program.

The Joint Conference location of Halifax, NS is the perfect balance of rural and urban experiences and was named one of the top 10 global destinations on the rise in TripAdvisor’s 2018 Travelers’ Choice Awards.
