Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Designer 
 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the schematic design of electrical, HVAC, plumbing & drainage, and fire sprinkler systems, as well as the preparation of construction drawings.

2. Responsible for technical briefings at construction sites and resolving issues arising during construction.

3. Assist estimators in collecting and organizing M&E-related information, provide quotation drawings and specifications for major M&E equipment, and brief estimators on project details.

4. Work with the internal team to prepare and collect M&E system material documentation, including technical specifications, main equipment parameter sheets, major equipment material lists, and brand lists.

5. Communicate with prefabricated housing manufacturers in China to ensure the prefabricated houses meet code requirements.

6. Strong sense of responsibility, proactive and motivated, with strong team collaboration skills.

7. Supervise construction contractors and handle on-site issues related to the M&E discipline.

Qualifications:

1. Major in Electrical Engineering or HVAC, with a college diploma or above.

2. Candidates must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, as a professional engineer (or engineer-in-training) with Engineers Nova Scotia, and must maintain their licensure in good standing for the duration of their employment as an engineer.

3. At least 3 years of M&E design experience, with planning and design experience in electrical/HVAC equipment systems; proficient in strong-current electrical/HVAC design and installation technology; have a certain understanding of plumbing & drainage, fire protection, and equipment installation and design.

4. Proficient in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and other drafting, design, and office software.

5. BIM/Revit experience and proficiency in related software are preferred.

6. Strong sense of responsibility with good communication and coordination skills.

7. Knowledge of new materials and processes in the relevant and related fields.

8. High sense of responsibility, professionalism, and team spirit, with good professional ethics.

9. Mandarin Chinese proficiency is an asset.

机电设计师职位招聘要求

岗位职责：

1、负责电气、空调，给排水，消防喷淋系统方案设计及绘制施工图纸；

2、负责施工现场技术交底及处理施工中出现的问题。

3、 协助估价师收集和整理机电各专业信息，提供报价图纸及机电主要设备的规格，对估价师进行项目交底；

4、 与内部团队合作，负责机电系统材料文件编制及收集，包括技术规格说明书、主要设备参数表、主要设备材料清单和品牌表

5、跟中国国内的装配式房屋建造厂家进行技术沟通，保证装配式房屋满足规范要求。

6、工作责任心强，有开拓进取及上进心，团队协作能力强。

7、监理施工单位，处理本专业的现场问题；

任职条件:

1、 电气、暖通相关专业，大学专科及以上学历；

2、 拥有加拿大当地本专业工程师注册资格，可对项目设计图纸进行签字确认，满足政府申报和验收要求。

3、 至少3年以上机电设计工作经验，具有电气/暖通设备配套专业规划、设计经验；熟练掌握强电/暖通设计及安装技术，对给排水、消防、设备安装及设计有一定的了解；；

4、 熟练操作AutoCAD、Word、Excel、PowerPoint、Project等绘图，制图及办公软件；

5、 BIM/Revit经验以及软件操作等应用经验者优先；

6、 具有责任心，良好的沟通协调能力；

7、了解本专业和相关专业的新材料、新工艺；

8、具有高度的责任心、敬业精神和团队协作精神，良好的职业道德。
