Thursday, March 5 - Trivia Night

Join us for Trivia Night at Dalhousie University to kick off National Engineering Month 2026 and win the prize! This fun and social evening brings people together for trivia, food, and great conversation in a casual campus setting. The trivia competition will feature a mix of engineering-themed questions and general knowledge, so there is something for everyone. Whether you are a trivia master or just coming for fun, you will have the chance to chat, connect, and enjoy some friendly competition with peers. Throughout the evening, free pizza will be served for attendees.
Saturday, March 7 - 9th Annual Curling Bonspiel (Registration is Full)

Compete for Nova Scotia’s top engineering curling team for the year and win the trophy! Teams will represent various organizations, fostering friendly competition in a relaxed environment. Team registration is now open, and each team must include a minimum of two Engineers Nova Scotia registrants. Every team will play 4 one-hour (4-end) games.

As part of online National Engineering Month activities, join Engineers Nova Scotia CEO & Registrar, Pal Mann, FEC, P.Eng., for an informative session on engineering in Nova Scotia and the way forward. These moderated, interactive sessions will allow you to engage with the CEO on topics that are important to you. Q&A session will be followed for you to ask questions and join the discussion. Two sessions will be held in March (March 11 and March 18) to accommodate registrants’ schedules. Both sessions cover the same content.

Join us for an inspiring evening at our Spotlight on Local Innovation event! Celebrate women in engineering during National Engineering Month as we highlight groundbreaking projects and research led by four incredible women engineers in Nova Scotia. Meet fellow emerging professionals, enjoy light appetizers, and get ready to cheer on the team at ORSO Pub & Grill before heading to the game! Tuesday, March 24 - Sweat & Sip Spin Class

“We don’t spin, we ride”. From a perfectly curated playlist to the theatrical lighting and sound system, this class is truly a party on a bike. Beat classes feature high-intensity cardio, rhythm-based choreography and upper-body weights. This full-body workout will take you on a physical and emotional journey. Hosted by the Emerging Professionals committee.
Thursday, March 28 - Engineering Exploration Day

Looking for a meaningful, educational, and fun weekend activity for your children?
Engineers Nova Scotia’s Engineering Exploration Day is a free public National Engineering Month event designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in youth ages 6–16. Whether your child enjoys building, experimenting, or just likes asking “how does that work?”, this is the perfect opportunity for them to explore, imagine, and dive into the world of STEM!
From designing and launching mini-catapults in fun competitions to exploring interactive engineering stations, they will gain confidence, develop hands-on and problem-solving skills, and see science and engineering come to life. Join the catapult competition for a chance to win prizes and let your kids take home their very own mini creations to proudly show off!
