TheCharteredProfessionalAccountantsof NovaScotiais seeking a public representativeto join its Board of Directorsto bring a voicefrom the perspective of the publicto issues affectingprofessionalaccountants and the delivery of accountingservices in NovaScotia.

CPA Nova Scotia isthe regulatory body thatgovernsprofessionalaccountants in NovaScotia. Itis responsibleforpromoting and increasing the professionalknowledge, skill and proficiency of CharteredProfessionalAccountants, as well as fosteringgreater public awareness of the practice of professionalaccounting.

Applicantsmaynot be a member of CPA Nova Scotia.Preference will be givento those with a variety of professional backgroundsrelevantto the position. The Board holds 8-10 half day meetings per year and this position is eligible for an honorarium.
