Join fellow members to tour FORCE (Fundy Ocean Research Center for Energy): Canada’s leading test center for in-stream tidal energy technology.

FORCE works with developers, regulators, and researchers to study the potential for tidal turbines to operate within the Bay of Fundy environment.

FORCE provides a shared observation facility, submarine cables, grid connection, and environmental
monitoring at its pre-approved test site.

Location: 1156 West Bay Rd, Black Rock, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia -- 10 km from downtown Parrsboro. 

Please note, the road to the site can be challenging -- especially this time of year with potholes and mud.  It may be slow going as you navigate the last few kilometers.  Also, there is an adundance of wildlife, so please be prepared to stop and wait for a porcupine or deer to cross the road.
