Do you have an interesting project or learning to share with your peers? Have you recently completed research that would be of benefit to members to know for their practice of engineering?
Engineers Nova Scotia is always looking for presenters in all areas of practice in engineering and management. Very few engineers enjoy being in front of a crowd but our lunch and learns are different, they are casual opportunities to speak to and with your peers. These presentations are also great ways for you to enhance your presentation skills, which all Engineers-In-Training are strongly encouraged to do in the Mentorship Handbook.
If you are willing to present for an hour at one of these events, please register and include a description of the topic in the comment section or send Beth Sollows, Professional Development Coordinator, an email. These events are hosted across the province so please note the area of the province you are willing to present at in the comment section as well.
Presentations earn a member 5 professional development hours in recognition of the preparation and presentation time required. This will be automatically added to your profile upon completion of the presentation. A maximum of 4 unique presentations per year qualify under the professional development program.
