Guideline for the Preparation of Engineering Drawings and Technical Specifications
Competently developed work products are vital to the success of any project. Errors and omissions in engineering deliverables can cause significant rework in design, implementation, and/or construction, which can affect project costs, schedule, performance, and safety. Key elements of project deliverables include drawings and technical specifications.
The Guideline for the Preparation of Engineering Drawings and Technical Specifications provides guidance and commentary on the production of these deliverables, and outlines the overall framework which engineers should follow in the development, review, and stamping of drawings and technical specifications.
The most recent draft version of the Guideline is available in PDF format click here.
