Reinstatement

Former members of Engineers Nova Scotia who wish to become active members again would apply for reinstatement. 

 

Reinstatement from Resigned

 

You must send the following documents:

  • completed application, signed and dated
  • application fees and dues (fees here)
  • current valid photo identification 
  • current resume*  
  • detailed work experience records* if resigned more than five years, including a description of recent professional development activities demonstrating competence to return to practice

* not required if registered elsewhere in Canada

Applicants for Full Membership who have not previously completed a Professional Practice Exam and have not been registered for over 5 years or do not belong to another constituent association, are required to successfully complete the National Professional Practice Examination before reinstatement can be granted.

 

Reinstatement from Stricken

 

You must send the following documents:

  • completed application signed and dated
  • application fees and dues (fees here)
  • current valid photo identification 
  • dues for the year stricken - Full Members only
  • current resume 
  • detailed work experience records if stricken more than five years, including a description of recent professional development activities demonstrating competence to return to practice

Members stricken for more than 5 years who have not previously written a Professional Practice Exam, and are not a member of a constituent association, are required to successfully complete the National Professional Practice Examination.
