Traditionally our approach to addressing Occupational Health & Safety issues in the workplace has and continues to be, to make more rules, more regulations, more policies, more procedures and higher fines.  However, in 2018 the province of Nova Scotia we still recorded 14 fatalities from acute traumatic injuries on the job and 26 fatalities classified as chronic, for a total of 40. Very, very tragic and a significant increase over 2017!!

John started his career with Scott Paper Maritimes Ltd, then moving on to Michelin Tire (Canada) Ltd, where he spent most of his corporate career.
