Where? Days 1, 2, 3 and 6 – Sexton Campus, Dalhousie University, Days 4 and 5- Halifax Area


Classroom: - Policies, regulations, guidelines, and administrative procedures; insurance implications; site assessment; soil assessment; design principles; design of standard and alternative systems; materials and specifications; pumps; system construction, operation and maintenance; and management; assessment and remediation of malfunctioning systems.

Field: - Site assessment, soil assessment.

Candidates will be expected to devote a minimum of 50 hours of self-study to this course, including mandatory take home assignments.
