Description:
A building automation system is the one piece of equipment and tool that will have the largest impact on a building’s energy use, indoor air quality and maintenance costs. The majority of automation systems are used marginally in terms of their potential, and as a result a key resource to decrease energy use and reduce liability stands idle. Education, documentation, and regular reviews have been shown to maximize building automation system performance. Facility managers and engineers who don’t fully understand these systems run the obvious risk of increasing liability for themselves as well as employer/client costs.
This course provides the opportunity to understand and maximize the performance of building automation systems.
