Colonel Hadfield is known around the world for his iconic service as Canada’s first Commander of the International Space Station where he captured the world’s imagination with his stories about life in space and his classic rendition of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity.” Living for five months aboard the International Space Station, Colonel Hadfield harnessed the power of social media to make outer space accessible to millions of people and infused a sense of wonder into our collective consciousness not felt since humanity first walked on the Moon.
