Session Topic: Presence: The power of being present – to ourselves, to others – in our personal and professional lives.

This interactive Lunch and Learn offers leaders and professionals an opportunity to appreciate how an investment in our personal development – building from the inside out – can positively influence our professional performance and success. It will offer a brief introduction to:

•          The power of ‘presence’ and why it matters so much in our increasingly complex world;
•          What we’re learning from research and science about the ways being present can influence our personal well-being, and enhance our professional effectiveness;
•          Some really practical, concrete strategies you can readily use to cultivate deeper levels of presence for yourself. 

Our presenter for this event is Michelle Lane, CPCC, CLCP

Michelle is a leadership coach and facilitator with more than 35 years’ leadership and consulting experience in a range of industry sectors, and companies big and small. Her engaging and interactive style blends her talents as a speaker, facilitator, coach and experienced organizational leader. When designing and facilitating workshops, she invites others to build on their own experience in exploring the possibility of new ways of being and doing.

A member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), Michelle is a Board Member of ICF Atlantic and currently serves as the Board’s Education lead for Atlantic Canada.
