Engineers Nova Scotia requires the services of a consultant to prepare a written report and supporting materials to support a discussion with the Provincial Government on possible changes to the Engineering Profession Act to reflect best practices in engineering regulation. The review will include an environmental scan of Canada’s engineering legislation and regulations as well as a summary of best practices in professional regulation, and will assess Engineers Nova Scotia’s current legislation, identifying potential risks to the public interest and good governance practices.
